Dr. Gretchen grew up in the Bay Area, calling Richmond her home for the first 18 years of her life. She enjoyed her high school years at Pinole Valley High before attending Occidental College in Los Angeles. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology with a Minor in English Literature, she attended New York University College of Dentistry for her dental education. Despite the distance, Dr. Gretchen remained closely connected to her family and friends back in California. It was only natural that she return home to the Bay Area upon the completion of her dental school education. Since 2005, she has practiced dentistry in El Cerrito, Pinole and Hercules, and has continued to learn and strive for dental excellence through attending an abundance of continuing education courses and participating in several local dental study clubs. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gretchen’s interests include arts and crafts, target shooting, karaoke, professional wrestling and keeping up with her daughter!

Sherry has over 30 years of front office experience, an in-depth understanding of dentistry from her past experience as a registered dental assistant, and a commitment to providing a positive experience to all patients she encounters. She is well-versed in scheduling and coordinating appointments and treatment, and is relentless when it comes to finding answers to any questions! In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, gardening and spending time with her two kids, four grandchildren, and her cats and dogs.

Candra has been working in the dental field since 2009.  She started as a dental assistant and transitioned to being a front office coordinator.  She realized her organizational and communication strengths were best utilized at the front office.  Candra's well-rounded dental experience allows her to accommodate the patients' dental needs by keeping them informed and comfortable.  Outside of the office, Candra enjoys spending time with her son and family, often on the water or at sporting events.

Sarah worked as a Dental Assistant for 7 years before earning her Registered Dental Assistant License in 2015. Her outgoing personality and helpful disposition make her a pleasure to be around, lessening any patients’ reservations about coming to the dentist. Besides being a multi-tasking asset to our dental office, Sarah is also a wife and a mother of two children, who has a passion for styling hair and enjoys spam musubi.

Kristy has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2008 and is a graduate from the Community College of Philadelphia’s dental hygiene program. Now calling the Bay Area her home, Kristy shares her passion for dental disease prevention while delivering a thorough cleaning at your hygiene appointment. When Kristy is not in the office, she can be found outside tending to her garden of both edible and ornamental plants and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Cheryl has extensive experience in the dental field, which has proven to make her a very well-rounded and proficient Registered Dental Hygienist. Her attention to detail and commitment to improving her patients’ oral health are what make Cheryl an excellent Hygienist. When Cheryl doesn’t have dentistry on her mind, you can find her cheering on the Giants, 49ers, and the Warriors with her husband and three daughters.

Natalia grew up in Belarus and earned her degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Chabot College in 2008. She is well-rounded and curious in all she does, and possesses a passion for healthy living. Her cheerful demeanor and attention to detail puts patients at ease and leaves them knowing they are in skilled hands. In her free time, Natalia enjoys swimming, traveling, and spending time with her son and dog.

Eden received her hygiene degree from Santa Rosa Junior College and has experience volunteering for public outreaches in which she has been able to deliver an optimal standard of dental care. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Eden hopes to shed light on the connection between dental health and your overall health. Besides her passion for her career, Eden has a performing arts background and loves to sing in her free time. Growing up in the East Bay, she also enjoys hiking, ocean views and great food.
